	We have Yosemite Backcountry Backpacking tours for this summer. 4 to 5 day trips. Only very fit & easy going people. We provide equipment, guides with medical training and meals. All itineraries are diferent and start roughly the second and fourth week of each month June thru September. 2 Day 2 Night Hike & Bike Tour San Francisco to Yosemite see below. Stay at the Yosemite Bug and choose between dorms and cabins. Discount Health Spa access. Bring your own food for the guest kitchen or eat our healthy foods at the Bug Cafe for a PACKAGE AT $26 MORE EACH PERSON! Bicycle/Swimming/Hiking to nearby Merced River Wild and Scenic Area. Nice level ride along the river with optional downhill 1800" foot on dirt road switchbacks at beginning. Stops at swimming hole afterwards in season. Sometimes hikes to American Indian points of interest. All year day tours into Yosemite Valley and Sequoia Groves from the Bug with great all year seasonal itineraries. Summer High Sierra Camping trips are mostly on Wednesdays thru Fridays and includes Hot Springs soaks, Mono Lake and cinder cone stops, and Ghost Town stops. WINTER, trips are adjusted to maximize sun. California winter weather is generally sunny with storms that precipitate mostly between a half to one day with days of sun between from mid-December through mid-March varying each year. We cannot guarantee optimal conditions but we try to make the most of every day through alterations to the tour.
	SUMMER ITINERARY TWO DAYS/TWO NIGHTS SAN FRANCISCO TO YOSEMITE DEPARTURES: MONDAY/WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY First Day: Pickup from San Francisco Hotels & Hostels! All meal package is $30 extra. Stop at Yosemite Bug for included lunch, enjoy the local Swimming Hole, opt in or out on a bicycle ride along the Merced River. On Fridays Gold Tour included showing off local mine, panning, museum with 4X4. Nightly Campfires with Fireside Fun. Sunset Tour sometimes available with dinner purchase on Monday eve. Overnight stay at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort, choose between: Hostel, Camping or Private Rooms Second Day: Mariposa Sequoia Grove Hike 2 miles Round Trip Sentinel Dome Panoramic Hike 1 mile Round Trip includes lunch at top. 	TEN LAKES HIGH SIERRA $320. TBA Thurs nite room and board extra. Medium difficulty. Two days in Ten Lakes area for exploration. Last day scramble about Mt Hoffman and overnight at May Lake. Beautiful. See Yosemite sights upon return and stay at Bug Thursday. Gold Tour included on Friday before return to SF. RITTER RANGE HIGH SIERRA $400. TBA High difficulty. Along the Pacific Crest Trail from Tuolumne Valley to Mammoth Lakes. Super impressive sawtooth Ritter Range with jewel lakes to explore. Every day is fantastic. Five day packing 10 plus miles a day so no whiners or troublemakers, please. No time to explore Yosemite Valley on this one, but you won't miss it.
	GRAND CANYON OF THE TUOLUMNE $400. TBA High Difficulty. Follow the Tuolumne River down it's Yosemite watershed. Play in the falls, swim in the river. Fantastic flora and fauna changes at each level drop. This is how pristine Yosemite Valley should be. Our favorite. Five days packing 12 plus miles with last kick in the butt ascent. Watch for snakes, we don't want to carry you out or charge heli fees. No time for Yosemite Valley on this one either. STARR KING AND SOUTHERN YOSEMITE $400. TBA High Difficulty. Leaving Yosemite Valley at Glacier Point past Illilouette Falls, we clamber about Mt Starr King and continue the exploration of the south end of the Park through the Gale Peak Highlands. The last day will be frolic & swim at the Mammoth Pools. LOST COAST $400. TBA High Difficulty. Did we say we knew the north coast of California? Yep, we do. This is sand sinking, boulder hopping, fog wiping glory at it's best. Untouched beach scenes under tall mountains with waterfalls. It is the life for sea nymphs! This is not easy, you must be very fit and used to the outdoors. Be ready to clear every corner of your mind. Liability waivers and medical background waivers are required for all tours, guides have wilderness first aid experience, most equipment provided should you not have your own, we recommend bringing your own large backpack, personal item checklist provided, 6 to 12 person trip, no tents will be packed open sky sleeping with tarps, we reserve the right to refuse difficult or unfit backpackers for safety reasons, one week's cancellation notice required.
	HIGH SIERRA CAMPING & HOT SPRINGS TO YOSEMITE and EASTERN SIERRA SUMMER ITINERARY: WEDNESDAY & SOME MONDAY DEPARTURES: This hot springs can be yours to jump into first. We stop at the Bug quickly from SF and head up quick to Tuolumne Meadows and stretch our legs on a walk before dinner at a high sierra campsite. The next day we start with a High Sierra stunning hike then head to a soak in a hot springs. Your guide knows them all and guards his secrets. Loaf about the campsite or take another scenic hike to a alpine lake. The food is all fresh and cooked outdoors. Everybody pitches in and hangs about the campfire. The next morning back we stop at a ghost town, check out Mono Lake and stop in Yosemite Valley for a quicky before heading back to SF. Two and a half days. $175 One day cancellation policy.

	YOSEMITE SUNSET TOUR FROM THE BUG SUMMER ITINERARY DEPARTURES: TUES/THURS/SAT Leave Yosemite Bug at 4pm, Return at 10pm Sightseeing stops in Yosemite Valley with historical, biological and natural dialog with an experienced guide. Hike Sentinel Dome for panorama of Yosemite Park for sunset- 1 mile round trip Enjoy dinner on the top of the Dome with pre-purchased wine. $60 PER PERSON INCLUDING DINNER AND PARK FEE
	BICYCLE TRIP FROM THE YOSEMITE BUG Tour leaves anyday at 8am or 2pm to Merced River Wild and Scenic Area. We drop off along the river's dirt road. 10 miles round trip. Pick up from Merced River Visitor's Center upon 4 hours later. Includes stop at swimming hole for an hour. Inclusive in SF-Yosemite Tour $25
